The library will close at 1051 S. Beacon at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 and is expected to reopen at 407 Columbus Avenue on Wednesday, July 1 at 9:00 a.m.  See below for details.

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Volunteer greeters are needed for the re-opening of the library at 407 Columbus Avenue.  Click here for the schedule.  If you wish to fill one of the vacancies, call 616 842-5560, ext. 215 or email gdhjw@llcoop.org.  Please include your phone number in your message so we can confirm your assignment.  

LIBRARY NEWS

Loutit District Library will close operations at its temporary location on June 20 at 5:00 pm and is expected to re-open at the "new" building, 407 Columbus Avenue, on July 1 at 9:00 a.m.

For your convenience, the book drop near the Fourth Street Entrance at the downtown location will be open for returns starting June 22, 2009. The book drops at 1051 S. Beacon will be closed as of that date.

Any items belonging to Loutit District Library will not be due between June 22 and July 6, but items from other libraries will be due. Fines will be waived for items returned during those times.

Library items can be renewed, holds can be placed, and fines can be paid online by clicking on the My Account link above. Library material can also be renewed by phone at 844-4496. Please remember that you can also check out and return materials at neighboring libraries.
