Beginning May 24, the Michigan Activity Pass will be available at all of Michigan’s nearly 400 public libraries. Discover Michigan using your library card! Summer Hours Begin
Loutit District Library will be closed Sunday, May 24 through Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day weekend. Starting Tuesday, May 26, the library will be open Monday through Saturday during the summer and return to school-year hours (Monday through Sunday) on Tuesday, September 8.

Loutit District Library, in partnership with RBdigital from Recorded Books, is pleased to offer Zinio for Libraries. Awarded Best New Database of 2012 byLibrary Journal, Zinio is the world’s largest newsstand, offering multi-user access to popular publications.
Through our website, Loutit patrons will have unlimited multi-user access to complete digital magazines, which can easily be viewed on most Internet-enabled devices inside or outside of the library. Zinio’s unique technology digitally recreates a magazine page for page, including full color pictures, intuitive navigation, key word article search and interactive elements such as audio and video. Every Day with Rachael Ray, Forbes, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and The New Yorker are just a few of the popular titles available.
