The large snow plow blade in the library’s parking lot will become a community art project on Saturday, September 28 from 2pm to 4pm, as part of the first Hispanic Heritage Fiesta in Grand Haven! One of the kids’ activities at the Fiesta will be helping paint the snow plow blade donated by the Ottawa County Road Commission. Grand Rapids artist Picardo will draw a scene on the blade and supervise the painting. Picardo will also be at the library on Thursday, September 12, to speak about Hispanic and Caribbean art and artists. This project is co-sponsored by Grand Haven ArtWalk and LDL.

In addition, check out the Hispanic book displays at the library, peruse and enjoy over 150 popular books in Spanish, or learn Mexican Spanish and European Spanish using the powerful language-learning software Pronunciator. ¡Celebrar!
