15 Minutes a Day for 35 Days

You can go anywhere in the pages of a book.

Why not take your imagination on a trip this summer with Loutit District Library?

We’re encouraging everyone to join our free Summer Reading Challenge.

You don’t have to have a library card to participate— the challenge is open to everyone!

It’s just that simple! Commit to reading at least 15 minutes a day for 35 days to create a daily reading habit. Log your days of reading on Beanstack or with your paper log to earn prizes. Everyone will get a Loutit District Library Imagine Your Story tote when they complete their reading goal. You can read a magazine, an ebook, an audiobook or a newspaper — just keep reading! Beanstack registration starts June 15.

Here is a great video to help get you started with the Beanstack app:

 Complete Activities

By completing activities on Beanstack, you can earn themed badges. These fun activities will keep you busy learning all summer long and increase your chances to win Dune Dollars and gift cards to Meijer, Jumpin’ Java, Mackite, Sweet Temptations and more! Why not challenge your friends to see who can complete them all?!

Attend Programs

Although COVID19 has made our plans fluid, we are committed to bringing you programs, learning opportunities and free fun.
