The following interviews with prominent members of the community, recorded in the 1980's and 1990's by staff and volunteers of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum, can be listened to here or in the Local History Room at Loutit District Library. CDs of these interviews are also available for checkout at the Library. To listen here and/or read the transcript, click on any title below. Transcripts will continue to be added when available. The original cassette tapes of these interviews are the property of the Tri-Cities Historical Museum. Digital conversion was provided by the G. Robert Vincent Voice Library at Michigan State University. This project was made possible by a grant from the Library of Michigan.

Transcription services were provided by MSU in 2006. Due to the fact that the interviews weren't transcribed locally, there are many errors in the spelling of names and places. As time permits, LDL staff is working to correct these errors.
