Due to the rapidly increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Ottawa County and surrounding Michigan communities, Loutit District Library is prioritizing the health and safety of our patrons and staff and will be temporarily transitioning to curbside service only beginning Monday, April 19. We hope to reopen for regular library service on Monday, May 3 but will continue to evaluate the situation and encourage you to sign up to receive e-mail newsletter updates.
For more information about curbside service and to schedule a pickup, click here. We are making this move in an effort to avoid a complete shutdown of library service. Library staff will continue to work in the building and can be reached via phone (616-850-6900), e-mail (email@example.com), the chat feature in the lower right-hand corner, or via social media during library service hours.
Book returns will remain open and the after hours holds pickup locker is available in the library’s parking garage enabling you to retrieve your requested items if you are unable to reach the library during curbside hours. Don’t forget our digital library is always available. We will monitor the local situation and will provide timely communication regarding library services.
