Mobile Printing

Both black & white and color printing are available. Your first 20 printed pages are free, with a suggested donation of $0.15 per additional page.

 

Visit the Print Release Station near the Adult Reference Desk to retrieve your prints.

Forward your email with an attachment to any of the following emails. You will receive a confirmation email when your print job is in the queue and ready to be printed.

Internet Access

Public computers are available on the upper level in the Youth Wing.

Free Wi-Fi is also available throughout the library and outside. For additional information, see our Internet Access page.

Copying, Scanning, & Faxing

Copying, scanning, and faxing services are available through the Library Document Station on the upper level near the Reference and Information Desk, along with a self-service Print Release Station. For assistance, ask at the desk.

Study Rooms

Study rooms are available for two hours on a first come, first serve basis. To use a room, stop by our Youth Desk.

Chromebooks

Chromebooks are available to checkout at the Check-Out desk on the Upper Level!

 

What is a Chromebook:

A Chromebook is portable computer that is optimized for internet use. They are designed to be used while connected to the Internet, using the Chrome browser and digital apps. Loutit District Library patrons can place holds, but they are first-come, first-serve for non-LDL patrons.

 

What to know:
  • Must be 18 years or older to check out.
  • 7-day check-out with no renewals and come with a power cord, instructions, and carrying case.
  • Chromebooks MUST be returned to the Check Out desk: Chromebooks placed in the book returns will accrue a $10 fine. If there are multiple offenses, the patron will no longer be able to checkout a Chromebook.
  • LDL staff clears the Chromebook of user info between each checkout. Information, passwords, and files will not be saved.

Hotspots

Hotspots are also available to checkout at the Check-Out desk on the Upper Level!

What is a Hotspot:

Get the Internet connectivity needed for mobile devices from virtually anywhere in T-Mobile’s 4G Coverage Area. Loutit District Library patrons can place holds, but they are first-come, first-serve for non-LDL patrons.

 

What to know:
  • Must be 18 years or older to check out.
  • 21 day check-out with no renewals and come with a power cord, sleeve, instructions, and carrying case.
  • Hotspots MUST be returned to the Check Out desk.
  • Please be sure to return the hotspot by the due date to be courteous to others waiting to checkout. After the device is overdue, the hotspot will no longer function.
